Dragon Age: Origins wins Best PC Game at 2009 Video Game Awards

In the midst of all the announcements and new trailers for upcoming games at the 2009 Spike TV Video Game Awards its easy to forget that there were some actual awards that were given out. The award nominees were selected by journalists but the winners were picked by fan votes. This year's Best PC Game award went to BioWare's Dragon Age: Origins which also won for Best RPG.

Unfortunately PC games were few and far between in the other categories as the majority of winners were console only titles. You can check out the list of winners after the jump. We wish two things had happened after watching this year's awards ceremony. One was that there really should be a Best Strategy Game category and the other was that the cast of Jersey Shore had not showed up to present the Best Shooter Award. Ugh.
